Technical Assistance & Training Systems (TATS)
TATS is a statewide project which supports programs serving prekindergarten children with disabilities by providing technical assistance and training. This support promotes high quality programs leading to positive outcomes for children and their families.
Parents as Teachers is a free online resource brought to you on a Padlet, an application for creating an online bulletin board of ideas and web links. The Parents as Teachers resource has been developed specifically for parents of preschoolers.
On the bulletin board you will find developmental activities and resources for building and enhancing your preschooler's skills, while using inexpensive items you probably have at home.
We encourage you to spend quality time with your preschooler exploring these fun and motivating learning activities. Remember you are your child's first teacher - there is no teacher like YOU!

Early Learning Coalitions
The Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties and the Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County are 501(c) (3) organizations that oversee and fund early learning programs for at risk and income eligible children. They develop, implement and monitor the School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten Programs as governed by Florida’s Office of Early Learning, and provide families the opportunity to enhance their children’s success by participating in quality early learning programs that better prepare children for school.
